The Case Study Interview with FSF Scholar and Virgil Abloh™ “Post-Modern” Scholar Alanis Castro-Pacheco highlights the strategy and inspiration behind her concept for Cartier’s Set For You eyewear collection, Set in Motion. Alanis explores how 3D technology and blockchain can create digital twins and digital product passports that bring new depth to the luxury client journey. Her research spans global AI legislation, sustainability reporting, and emerging consumer insights. These findings reveal a clear shift in expectations among younger shoppers who value transparency, responsible production, and a stronger connection to the craftsmanship behind what they bring into their lives.
Alanis graduated from Susquehanna University with degrees in luxury brand marketing and graphic design and now serves as a Strategic Partners Manager at TikTok. In this role, she supports creator agencies and e-commerce talent as they grow through TikTok Shop. She credits the FSF Case Study Competition with strengthening her sense of clarity, her confidence in complex problem-solving, and her ability to bridge design, technology, and business strategy. These strengths continue to shape her work and guide the perspective she brings to the industry.
