THE VIRGIL ABLOH™ “POST-MODERN” TALK SERIES

The Virgil Abloh™ “Post-Modern” Scholarship Fund Talk Series is designed to empower the next generation of talent, including Black and African American creatives, as well as those who reflect the creativity, curiosity, and progressive spirit that drive this work forward.

Building upon what Virgil Abloh started at the Fashion Scholarship Fund with his community of friends and collaborators, this series continues his commitment to open access and knowledge sharing. It provides direct access to industry luminaries, candid conversations, and professional development opportunities.

By connecting emerging talent with experienced professionals through mentorship and guidance, participants gain invaluable insights and develop the skills needed to succeed.

On Wednesday, November 4, at 6:00 PM EST, the Fashion Scholarship Fund will be hosting a virtual conversation on entrepreneurship, leadership, and what it takes to build and sustain an independent fashion brand, featuring RAISEfashion Co-Founder and Executive Director Felita Harris in conversation with fashion and media executive Nandi Howard.

Drawing on their respective experiences across fashion, media, and industry leadership, the conversation will explore the lessons, challenges, and strategies behind building a brand and navigating entrepreneurship in today’s fashion landscape.

The conversation will be followed by an audience Q&A moderated by current “Post-Modern” Scholar and founder of Sangre Real, Trevor Lloyd, bringing the perspective of an emerging designer and entrepreneur to the discussion.
